THE PERSON BEHIND THE HELP

Hi, I’m Jeremiah.
Let’s make tech
less frustrating.

I’m an IT technician with a background in hands-on computer support and device repair. I’m originally from Indiana and now call Wilmington home.

My work has taken me from repairing phones, tablets, and laptops to helping hospital staff with the computers and equipment they rely on. That experience means I’m comfortable working through both the technical problem and the practical question: “How do we get this working for you?”

I run Jeremiah Tyler IT Services as a local side business, with appointments arranged directly with me. My goal is to give you help you understand—whether that means a repair, a better setup, or a lesson that makes your device feel less intimidating.

Outside of work, I enjoy disc golf and volleyball. I like meeting people, working through a problem, and leaving them more comfortable with their technology.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

Tell me what’s happening.
We’ll take it from there.

You’ll deal with the same person from your first message through your appointment.

  1. 1

    Start with a conversation

Share your device, the problem, and what you’d like to accomplish. A model number or description helps.

  2. 2

Agree on the work & price

We’ll discuss the next step, estimate, any parts, and an appointment. Changes to the plan are discussed with you.

  3. 3

    Get help & understand it

I’ll work through the agreed task, explain what was done, and go over the next steps before we finish.

Plan a session

Before we start: I’ll confirm an estimate. Parts, paid software, and any applicable tax are additional unless included in the quote. If the scope changes, we’ll discuss it before proceeding.

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

A little preparation
goes a long way.

You don’t need to troubleshoot everything yourself. These details simply help us get started.

  • Have the device and charger ready. For a printer, include its model and the computer or phone you print from.
  • Tell me what changed. An error message, when it began, or what you’ve already tried is useful.
  • Check your backup if you can.Tell me if important files or photos aren’t backed up, so we can discuss them before repair or reset work.
  • Keep your passwords private. Please enter passwords yourself when needed; leave them out of texts and emails.
  • Bring your questions to a lesson.Pick a few things you’d like to learn. Group sessions work best around one shared topic.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few questions
you might have.

Have another question? Call or text me. You don’t have to know the technical terms.

Can I contact you about any computer problem?

Yes. Reach out about hardware, software, slow performance, startup problems, account access, connections, or anything else that’s going wrong. We’ll discuss the issue and the best next step; the service list is a starting point.

Do you repair iPhones and iPads?

Yes. I offer iPhone and iPad help and part replacements, including screens, batteries, and charging-related repairs. The exact model, fault, available parts, price, and expected timing are confirmed before work.

Can you help with printers and scanners?

Yes. I help with setup, Wi-Fi connections, printing from computers or Apple devices, scanning, drivers, and troubleshooting. Send your printer model and what’s happening so we can discuss it.

What’s the difference between help and a lesson?

A support appointment focuses on a device problem or task. A lesson focuses on helping you learn and practice. Tell me which matters most to you, and we’ll plan the time accordingly.

How do group sessions work?

A standard workshop is 90 minutes for 4–8 people at $25 each, with a $100 group minimum. We choose a shared topic and suitable location beforehand. Bring your device for hands-on practice. Larger groups and other formats are quoted separately.

Will I know the price before the work?

We’ll discuss the work and estimate first. Standard labor is $50/hour; some repairs are quoted by job. Parts, paid software, and applicable tax are separate unless the quote includes them. Any change to the plan is discussed with you.

What about my photos, files, and privacy?

Your device and information are handled for the work we agree on. Let me know if anything important needs backing up before a repair or reset. Enter passwords yourself when needed and keep them out of messages.

How soon can I get help?

Contact me to check availability. I work by appointment, and repair timing depends on the issue, parts, and schedule. A text or email request starts the conversation; it doesn’t reserve an appointment automatically.
